It doesn’t have to feel this way.
After working with hundreds of couples over the last 12+ years, I’ve realized that the pre-wedding relationship deserves to be celebrated. Not always as a grand spectacle, but as a way of remembering what this time of your relationship has felt like, and meant to you.
Your relationship isn’t “cheesy poses and fake smiles” - it’s full of intimacy, laughter, beauty, and personality.
That’s why I approach engagement sessions differently than most. Instead of forcing ‘Pinterest poses’ or fitting every couple into a cookie cutter trend, we start from scratch and explore what your relationship means to you. What do you most enjoy doing together? What are some of your favorite memories?
For some that may be a casual day in nature, or a glam evening date in the city, or even a small vacation to somewhere exotic. For others it’s as simple as staying at home and cooking together or playing with a pet.
Memories of this time in your lives together are far more important than simply “nice pics for a save the date”.
That’s why I approach engagement sessions from the ground up - to ensure that you feel welcomed to just be yourselves, that you’ll have a guide to help you through it all, and that you’ll walk away with memories that are your own.
This is how:
Step 1: Tell me about you! We’ll walk through some ideas on how we can best tell your story.
Step 2: We have a relaxed, ‘hangout’ style photo session, almost as if you’re on your ideal date.
These are up to 2 full hours, to ensure nothing feels like a production, and you have plenty of guidance along the way.
Step 3: I’ll develop your photos from scratch to best fit your personalities and the mood of each moment.
From there you’ll receive a full gallery of edited images, and an opportunity to share them,
save them, and have artwork for your home.
